Beulah / ADOPTED

Beulah / Adopted. We pulled BB from a kill shelter in Gaston, North Carolina with only moments to spare.

We think BB is a Treeing Walker Coonhound, whatever she is, we are sure that her life before The Farm was less than perfect. Left to fend for herself, she was in terrible condition and heartworm positive, see Beulah’s intake video .

BB as we have nicknamed her, is gentle and perfect in every way. She may still carry the physical scars of her previous life, but she has mentally thrown it away. This girl is a ray of sunshine, she has zero prey drive in fact her best friend is a chicken. My 2 year old Great Nephew walks her all over The Farm and they happily crawl into her dog house together on the days we have her outside.

Beulah is about 6-8 years old, crate trained, but she really doesn’t need to be crated, house-trained and fully vetted.

She is still slightly heartworm positive and we are continuing her treatment, but we expect her to make a full recovery.
